At SAB Counselling Service, our therapists practise integrative therapy — an approach that draws from multiple therapeutic disciplines to support the individual as a whole.
Rather than applying a single method to every client, integrative therapy recognises that each person’s experiences, culture, nervous system and relational patterns are unique. Our therapists thoughtfully combine approaches to create a treatment plan that is responsive, flexible and tailored to your needs.
This may include relational, trauma-informed, cognitive, somatic or Afrocentric frameworks, depending on what feels most appropriate and effective for you.
Integrative therapy is not about fitting you into a model — it is about shaping the work around you.

Thoughtfully integrating therapeutic disciplines to meet you where you are.
